On Saturday, January 7, 2017, President Muhammadu Buhari was among other African leaders who witnessed the peaceful swearing in of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as the fifth President of the fourth Republic of Ghana. The Nigerian President was also seen congratulating Nana Addo after his inauguration.
