Feelers from Edo state have it that there is tension in the state as the governor-elect, Godwin Obaseki takes his oath of office. Outgoing governor, Adams Oshiomhole is expected to hand over formally to the new governor of the state at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium where the oath of office will be taken officially.
But there are reports that there isi tight security right from the adjoining roads to the stadium and those leading directly into the stadium as the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) confirmed that police officers, soldiers, SSS officers, NSDC, among other forces were stationed at strategic positions within and outside the stadium.
